Our Story

Before becoming one of Asia's most respected financial advisers, Dr. Chen Ming Li was a well-known actress in Taiwan. In the early 1980s, she made the difficult decision to leave the entertainment industry and begin a new career in insurance.

The path demanded resilience. She had started working as a child, and early hardship had tested her long before the industry did. She met it the way she would meet everything that followed, without looking away: visiting clients through the day and studying for her licensing examinations at night, passing them on the first attempt. For eighteen consecutive years she was AIA Singapore's top-producing adviser.

The transition was not easy, but it marked the beginning of an extraordinary journey. She became the first person in Southeast Asia to qualify for MDRT Top of the Table and later the first Chinese-speaking adviser invited to speak on the MDRT Main Platform, sharing her experience with more than 10,000 advisers from around the world.

More than 40 years later, Dr. Chen continues to work with many of the clients she first met at the beginning of her career. Over the years, those relationships have grown across generations, with parents introducing their children and, later, their grandchildren. It's a testament to a practice built not on transactions, but on lifelong partnerships and steadfast commitment.
